🔪 Spyderco UK Penknife Salt Black G-10: CPM MagnaCut Performance in a Lightweight SlipIt Folder 🖤
The Spyderco UK Penknife Salt Black G-10 CPM MagnaCut Plain Edge Folding Pocket Knife (C94GMCBKP) builds on the original UK Penknife platform with ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and a streamlined all-black finish. As part of Spyderco’s SLIPIT family, it is a one-hand-opening, clip-carried, non-locking folding knife designed around a lightweight, practical format. ✨
At the center of this Salt version is a 2.95-inch plain-edge blade made from CPM MagnaCut steel. The blade uses a full-flat grind and is finished with a non-reflective DLC coating. CPM MagnaCut is designed to provide a balance of edge retention, toughness, and exceptional corrosion resistance, while the black Diamond-Like Carbon coating gives the blade a low-reflective appearance. ✅
The UK Penknife Salt features Spyderco’s SlipIt non-locking mechanism. This configuration retains the recognizable UK Penknife format while supporting one-hand opening through Spyderco’s signature round hole. The knife has a 2.57-inch cutting edge and a blade thickness of 0.098 inches, creating a slim blade profile within a compact folding design.
Its handle is constructed with Black G-10 scales featuring peel-ply texturing and Spyderco’s Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern. This textured handle design is intended to provide a secure, non-slip grip while preserving the lightweight character of the knife. 🖤
A reversible deep-pocket wire clip supports discreet tip-up carry on either side of the handle. The ambidextrous clip position lets users configure the knife for left- or right-side carry. Like the other handle hardware, the clip has a non-reflective black finish that complements the knife’s all-black appearance.
At only 2.2 oz, the Spyderco UK Penknife Salt is easy to carry while offering a full-size feel in hand. It measures 6.89 inches overall when open and 3.95 inches closed, making it a compact option for everyday carry and outdoor use.
