The Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE is a powerful .30 caliber break barrel air rifle built for shooters looking for serious performance, durability, and comfort in a field-ready platform. Equipped with Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston system, QuietEnergy technology, and an all-weather synthetic stock, the Mod 130S QE combines hard-hitting performance with a smooth shooting experience.

At the heart of the Mod 130S QE is Hatsan’s Vortex gas piston system. Compared with a traditional spring-powered action, the gas piston provides smoother cocking and shooting, eliminates spring torque and spring fatigue, and delivers reliable performance even in cold weather.

The precision-rifled German steel barrel is surrounded by Hatsan’s QuietEnergy shroud with an integrated sound moderator, reducing the report by approximately 50% compared with an unshrouded barrel. The rifle also features Hatsan’s Quattro two-stage adjustable match trigger with a metal trigger blade. The trigger can be adjusted for pull weight, first stage, second stage, and length of travel.

With a maximum velocity of up to 550 FPS and energy of up to 34 FPE, the Mod 130S QE delivers substantial power from a break barrel platform. Hatsan’s patented SAS (Shock Absorber System) helps reduce felt recoil, while the Trio Pad rubber butt pad and included spacers provide additional comfort and allow adjustment of the length of pull.

For safe operation, the rifle is equipped with a manual safety, automatic cocking safety, and anti-bear trap mechanism.

The ambidextrous all-weather synthetic thumbhole stock features a pistol grip, adjustable Monte Carlo cheek piece, and checkering on the grip and forend for improved control. An 11mm dovetail and Weaver-compatible optics rail with a metal scope stop provides flexibility for mounting optics, while fiber-optic front and rear sights allow the rifle to be used without a scope.

Whether you’re looking for a powerful .30 caliber break barrel for target shooting or appropriate field use, the Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE offers a feature-packed combination of power, adjustability, durability, and shooting comfort.
