Varia Vue offers up to 7 hours of battery life in day flash mode with recording enabled. When paired with the Varia RCT715 rearview radar camera tail light, you can simultaneously capture rear-facing footage for complete ride coverage. Use the Varia app to control camera and light settings, edit footage, and add data overlays such as speed or route information. For secure video storage and automatic uploads of incident footage via Wi-Fi, subscribe to Garmin Vault (a free trial is available for new users).

Bundle versions of the Garmin Varia Vue Headlight Camera are available with one of two powerful rearview radar options to enhance your ride safety and awareness. One bundle includes the Garmin Varia RCT715 Rearview Radar with an integrated camera and tail light that continuously records your ride and automatically saves footage in the event of an incident. The bright tail light improves visibility to motorists, while seamless integration with Garmin Edge devices or the Varia app on your smartphone alerts you to approaching traffic. You can also manage footage, transfer videos, and customize data overlays directly from the app. The second bundle features the Garmin Varia RTL515 Rearview Radar with a highly visible tail light and radar that detects vehicles approaching from behind up to 140 meters (153 yards) away. It connects to compatible Garmin devices or your smartphone to provide real-time alerts and offers a compact, vertical design suitable for most road bikes. With up to 1 mile of daylight visibility and a peloton mode that’s considerate to group riders, the RTL515 is designed to help you stay seen and safe.
