To produce the Kepka, we use the same carbon moulding methods employed in the construction of all our other products. Moulding with different layers of carbon fiber prepreg, unlike CNC-milling, increases top cap stiffness and durability.
The Kepka has glass-fiber layers on the bottom, effectively protecting the aluminum stems from galvanic corrosion, which can occur when carbon meets the aluminum.
